Notes (how to do the work) | Start by watching the TATE KIDS intro into POP ART. Then work through the lessons and complete tasks where possible. You could adapt your use of materials to what you have at home. The lessons are around the same theme that you would be studying in class, but not the same tasks. | In this unit we look at the Russian Artist Kazimir Malevich, clip 1 and 2 introduce you to the artist. We would then create a design based on his work to create a lino. Lino cutting relies on you understanding about positive and negative space. Therefore I would like you to complete the activity to create your own piece of Notan art. |
