Facilities for Hire

The school’s accessible location, flexible facilities and ample parking make it an ideal venue for clubs and groups to hire space to accommodate a broad range of events, such as sports activities, conferences, meetings, seminars, theatrical and musical events.
Our large, modern, double-sized indoor sports hall is suitably sized to accommodate a range of sports including: futsal, cricket, five-a-side football; badminton; basketball; volleyball; martial arts and much more!

Within the complex is a purpose-built dance studio with air conditioning, which is also available for hire. For outdoor sports, you can also hire our hard-courts with floodlights. Perfect for all-year round netball and tennis.

Auditoriums
We have 3 auditoriums that can accommodate 60 to 300 visitors, all with our retractable seating system. This provides an ideal venue for conferences or performances – there is a stage lighting system in the larger auditorium, a speaker system as well as full presentation facilities in all three.

In addition to this, there are many other opportunities available:

Business meetings (hiring our conference rooms)

Crown Hills Sport & Education Centre

Crown Hills Sport and Education Centre opened in October 2013 and is located on Gwendolen Road in Evington, Leicester. Since then the centre has been available to the public for hire after the school (Crown Hills Community College) closes during the week and also at weekends. The Centre boasts an 8 Badminton court (6 Cricket Net Lanes) sized Sports Hall with a retractable wooden, waist high partition complemented with roof height netting giving users an extremely flexible, indoor space.

We offer a range of activities including (but not limited to)

Badminton (8 courts)
Basketball (2 full sized courts)
Cricket (6 lanes)
5-A-Side/FUTSAL (2 full sized courts)
Volleyball (2 full sized courts)
Indoor Tennis

All users are impressed with the quality of the flooring, lighting and sound within this facility.

Activity Studio and Main Hall

This multi-use activity studio has a spacious cushioned floor complete with floor to ceiling mirrors on one side. Available to hire for a multitude of different activities, such as

Dance
Karate
Zumba
Yoga
Drama

Outdoor Areas

We have a fully floodlit 4 Tennis/Netball court MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) which is available for hire every night during the week and also at weekends.

The centre also boasts a large grassed area which is ideal for (but not limited to):
